Double Cap Rivets - 9mm - Black - by Zipper Zoo
 
Double cap rivets are often used in bagmaking:
when layers are too thick or sturdy (think leather) to sew through with a domestic sewing machine.
to secure the stitching at points of high strain
as a decorative element
 
We have created this set because it is difficult to predict exactly how thick the combined layers will be in the finished project.
 
It contains 24 rivets, all with a cap diameter of 9mm, but with 3 distinct post heights:
6mm: perfect for 1 layer of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (10 pcs)
9mm: perfect for 2 layers of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (10pcs)
12mm: perfect for 3 layers of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (4pcs)
